Military Leadership
I have 14-years of experience in military leadership with 10 years as a Combat Engineer and 4 years as an Army Reserve Career Counselor. Both experiences have taught me in different ways how to effectively lead, mentor and develop Soldiers in the Army Reserves but also has made me a more rounded professional in the private sector.
Combat Engineer
As a Combat Engineer I served in various leadership roles including Team Leader, Squad Leader and Acting Platoon Sergeant. I was responsible for the development of Soldiers and oversight of technical Engineer operations involving IED removal, Mine Field Clearance, Mobility Support and Counter Mobility teams.

Career Counselor
As a Career Counselor I oversee the professional development of Soldiers and helping guide career progression decisions to encourage retention in the U.S. Army Reserves. I work with Soldiers and their units to overcome obstacles preventing them from reenlisting. This is a rewarding military occupational specialty that has allowed me to develop Human Resources skills and made me a better coach and mentor.
