This program has helped make me a more effective and confident leader. I have learned leadership theory and researching current topics in leadership. This has helped me recognize my personal leadership style and allowed me to develop a more comprehensive leadership approach. Major topics included Leading Teams, Managing Change, Leadership Ethics and Leadership Research Methods.

I had the opportunity to complete a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma through the Shingo Institute located at Utah State University. This introduced me to Six Sigma methodology and culminated in a successful Green Belt project that I performed in my workplace.

This program provided me a solid foundation in technical sciences and helped me develop a love for learning, problem solving and the scientific method. I pursued a minor in biology and conducted research as an undergraduate.

I further developed my knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma through a Graduate Certificate program. I have applied principles learned through this program in my professional workplace, these credits also contributed to my Masters in Organizational Leadership.
